As a digital marketing specialist, Erin’s job is all about staying on top of a field that’s constantly changing. New platforms, new metrics, new tactics—it’s a lot to take in, and it suits Erin just fine. In fact, her favorite part of her job is that no two days are the same, and she thrives when faced with challenges and opportunities to learn. Erin’s degrees in marketing and finance are the perfect mix of creative thinking through an analytical lens, and we’re thrilled that our clients will benefit from her tenacity and talents.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? Going out to brunch or lunch with friends.
Was the last thing you read? The last one I finished was Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. I’m currently reading When You See Me by Lisa Gardner. My favorite author is Liane Moriarty.
What podcasts do you listen to? If I want something informative, I like to listen to “SHE” with Jordan Lee Dooley or “The Papaya Podcast” with Sarah Nicole Landry. If I feel like hearing cheesy celebrity drama, “Chicks in the Office” by Barstool Sports is a favorite.
Do you have a favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is Christmas because of course I love spending time with my family, but I also love classic Christmas movies like Home Alone, The Grinch, etc.
What’s your favorite ice cream topping? Oreos.
What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better? My dog, Murphy, jumping all over the place when I get home!
What is your biggest fear? Drowning, big bodies of water, and creatures inside big bodies of water.
What is your favorite sport to watch or play? To watch: Football—specifically the Iowa Hawkeyes or the Dallas Cowboys.
To play: Dance (if you can count that)—I did it for 18 years growing up, including in college at the University of Iowa!
Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? Ern—literally just my name without the i. And my Grandma has called me Ernen forever!
What are your two biggest pet peeves? Interrupting or trying to talk over others to make a point.
Do you like or dislike surprises? Love them!
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten? Alligator nuggets.
What was the most important thing you learned from high school? I was constantly busy in high school, and almost every day after school I went directly from dance team practice at my school to practice at my dance studio and I wouldn’t get home until 10pm most nights. I was still busy in college with dance and school, but high school taught me it’s still important to find time to spend with friends and family, and to rest for a little and take time for yourself.
Have you ever had a surprise party? Yes, my 16th birthday!
What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? Diving off a cliff in Costa Rica.
What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee? Chrissy Teigen.
What was the last TV show you binge-watched? The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix—one of my favorite shows now.
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grew up? A Radio City Music Hall Rockette in New York City.
If we went to happy hour, what would you order? Chardonnay.
